At UIC, our student body includes student entrepreneurs interested in a variety of fields. Throughout their time at UIC, these students have explored a variety of ventures, ranging from AI to nonprofit work. UIC resources, such as faculty, extracurricular programs, and our diverse student body, have helped these students pursue their interests.

Throughout their time at UIC, these student entrepreneurs have been able to create and expand their businesses, influencing the lives of others by encouraging other students to pursue their own entrepreneurial goals.

Our business is named Sabor a Mexico. We are a family owned business on a mission to put flavor back into salsa using authentic family recipes that celebrate the unique flavors of Mexican cuisine. Currently we sell our product at different farmers markets across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We also sell through our website and have recently launched a monthly subscription box.
